Monikos started as a small café in 2008 with the simple idea of offering innovative dishes that capitalise on the cross section of flavourful and fresh ingredients available in Kenya. While that inspiration remains, today Monikos has grown into something more – a revolutionary restaurant with unique dishes and a memorable atmosphere. Under the guidance of Manager and Director Jonas Gejke together with Head Chef Kendi – who spent years training in the US before returning to challenge Nairobi’s established food scene – and Directors Claes Berggen and Fareed Khimani, Monikos has become a class of our own.
